Heading to the Land Down Under

One of the more common questions that Tim and I are constantly getting is “Where are you going for your honeymoon?” and I always make answering the question more complicated than it probably needs to be. For some reason, I always feel the need to explain our situation and the reasoning behind us not going […]

Colorado

Tim and I flew out to Colorado last Thursday night to spend a [very quick] few days out there with our friends Matt and Ellen. We jammed packed as much as we could into our short trip…like I don’t know if we could have done much more in the time we were out there. We […]

A View From the Sky

So this is what I saw flying into Omaha over the 4th of July weekend. I know it’s been almost 2 weeks ago, so the pictures probably don’t represent the current situation of the Missouri River flood. I’m sure it’s still very similar, but I don’t hear much about it living several hours away. Not […]

Europe

In May 2009, my younger sister and I went on a 12 day trip to London, Paris and Rome. I was like a kid in a candy store pretty much the entire time because of my strong desire of always wanting to travel abroad. When I was 9 or 10, I asked my grandma if we could travel to China. Of course she told me yes, and now at 23 years old I’m stilling waiting to go on my trip to China. Each one of the city’s we visited probably deserve their own post, but for time’s sake I’m just going to condense it a little for now.
