So St. Louis got hit by “Storm Q” yesterday. We got roughly 4 to 6 inches of snow and ice. I left work around 11 AM and decided to work from home for the rest of the day. Thank goodness I did because the roads weren’t plowed at all, and I honestly don’t think MoDOT did much to treat them before hand. They say they did, but I don’t believe it. I never saw one truck out any of the times I was driving Thursday morning before the storm hit.
Anyway, so here a few a pictures I took throughout the day. It did get nasty—basically a white out at one part of the day. You can see how I left my wipers up so they wouldn’t get stuck.
Our MIZZOU and Nebraska rocks in the front flower/bush bed area. You can see who can clearly stand up to winter weather, and who can’t.
The Hubs and I ended the night with a bottle of red wine so all was good. 🙂
I caught Ferrah staring out the door this morning as Tim was clearing off both of our cars.
The weather is back up into the 40’s today and the roads are clear. Nothing unusual about a bit of snow and ice in the Midwest at the end of February.
