One of my favorite things about the Christmas and holiday season is the ability to wear oversized tacky sweaters with no reservations. One of our friends holds an annual Ugly Christmas Sweater party. It’s pretty amazing. I raided my mom’s stash of ugly vests a couple of years ago and she’s never gotten them back. I went all out last year and made my own sweater. I used a hot glue gun to attach gold garland around the neckline and wrists of the green sweatshirt, along with a scalloped pattered around the body. I also had a giant red bow on the front (can’t miss that) and battery powered lights wrapped around me.
I ordered a new one for this year, and thought I’d round up some of my favorite from around the internet. Of course the best ones are taken from your mom or grandma’s drawer/closet or found at Goodwill, but when those aren’t options, it’s nice to have other sources. FIY–eBay and Craigslist are gold mines.
