2013 was a busy, but good year. Here’s a few highlights 🙂
I finished my 12 Races in 12 Months goal.
I finally wrote down (or typed out) my 30 Before 30 list.
Went to a ton of concerts.
Kept trying out new baking recipes.
Ran my second half marathon, and finished under 2 hours.
Took a trip to Nashville for Tim’s birthday.
Got to enjoy some of the best things about summer—sailing, food trucks, Ozarks, more baking.
Finished my second triathlon (I’m already signed up for the 2014 one!)
Spent the 4th of July in my favorite place to spend the 4th of July—my hometown in Nebraska.
I turned 26 and my car was hit and totaled within 2 days of each other. Happy Birthday?
Was honored to be a bridesmaid in two weddings in the same month.
After a year of waiting, Tim and I finally headed to New Zealand and Australia for two weeks.
Oh, and we celebrated our 1 year wedding anniversary in Sydney. Amazing.
Ran the Skippo in Castlewood for the second year in a row.
My family came down to St. Louis for Thanksgiving. Good thing we have two bathrooms.

Tim’s beard grew out of control because of a bet.
Celebrated Christmas in Nebraska with my family and here in St. Louis with Tim’s family.
