I feel like I always have my vacations/trips planned (in my head) at least a year or two in advance. Last year we stuck with domestic trips, which we’ll be doing again this year. 2016 has an international trip planned!
The theme for this year’s travels: Warm Weather!
Trip 1: Florida / We haven’t been back to Florida since we got married, so I’m really looking forward to this trip. Plus, we get to see some Cardinal’s spring training games!
Trip 2: Viva la Mexico! / I’ve never been much of a beach girl, but I’m pretty excited about this trip. We’re going with a group of friends to an all-inclusive resort, which is something I’ve never done. This isn’t technically a domestic trip, but close enough.
Trip 3: Austin, TX / We’re hoping to go to Austin City Limits this year. It’s been on Tim’s bucket list since who knows when, and it would also be crossing an item off my 30 Before 30 list. Plus, I hear Austin is a really cool town.
We’ll make our trip(s) to the Lake of the Ozarks this summer as usual, and we’ll be heading to Nebraska a couple times as well. I’m going to try and sneak in another trip, though I’m not quite sure what it will be.
We have a world map hanging in the office where we pin our international trips and other trips we’ve taken together, but I’m thinking we need to hang up the United States map and start pinning on that too!
